THE LYRICS OF CHRISTMAS

“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, all around the world.” In the near future we will almost certainly hear those familiar lyrics on the radio, on a TV special, or at the mall. There is almost nothing that reminds us of the Christmas season as the songs we hear and sing during this time of year. In this Christmas series we will look at five songs from the book of Luke (Elizabeth’s, Mary’s, Zechariah’s, the Angels’, and Simeon’s), that looked backed to the ancient promises and explain how each draws us to experience the love, hope, joy and peace that are deeply rooted in the story of Christmas.
