Come and See: Jesus in the Gospel of Luke
January 14, 2024 - March 31, 2024
Come and See
The events in the life of Jesus as recorded in the 4 gospels of New Testament have the power to transform lives starting with each one of us. Come And See invites all of us to take a fresh look at Jesus as recorded by Luke in his gospel. Luke was a well educated doctor and historian and as such he gives a careful and thoroughly researched account of Jesus and his interaction with others during His time here on earth. If we are open to the Spirit's leading, we will be changed by the same power Jesus displayed in His ministry on planet earth.
Luke labored to show that Jesus is for everyone! He sought out the religious and irreligious, the morally committed and divergent, the wealthy and poor, the prestigious and those on the margins. If you think that you aren’t good enough for God or aren’t sure that you are the kind of person God is interested in, Luke reminds us that Jesus is the savior of all. He didn’t come for “other people” he came exactly for people like you and me.
Since each of these messages will come from the Gospel of Luke, you can use these messages in your personal study of the book and we hope you will invite others to study the individual passages with you and as we gather in Life Groups. You will find lasting help with this encounter with Jesus the Savior of men. Join us for the next several months as we Come and See: Jesus in the Gospel of Luke.
