1. What stood out to you about today's sermon?
2. What is the difference between suffering as a regular part of living in a broken world and suffering for the sake of the Gospel? How do we suffer together for the sake of Christ?
 
3. Do we face suffering well?  Why or Why not?
 
4. Why is he calling them to live in a manner worthy of the Gospel? How does suffering fit into this call?
5. What could Paul possibly mean in vs. 29 when he says it has been granted to us to suffer for Christ sake?
 
6. Do you resist suffering?  Do you trust that God can redeem your suffering? Do you believe God has your best interest in view even when you experience suffering? How does trusting Jesus lead us to view suffering differently?
