  2. How often do we look at the circumstances in our life in light of God’s advancing the gospel through us? How might seeing life from this perspective aid us in focusing on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and its advancement?

  4. What was the response of believers to Paul's imprisonment? What is your response to adversity?

  5. When we see others in adversity or experience it for ourselves does this motivate us with confidence or find us shrinking back?
